1. General Sterile Workshop

1.1 Location & Infrastructure

  • Located on a dry floor with good lighting and fluorescent lamps
  • Double-layer sealed windows with 48-inch ultraviolet lamps
  • UV lamps positioned 1-1.2 meters above the table

1.2 Buffer Room Requirements

  • Must be equipped with ultraviolet lamps
  • Wash basin with disinfectants
  • Disinfection storage tanks
  • Slippers and coat hooks

1.3 Essential Equipment

  • Mobile transfer window in buffer room
  • Air conditioning system
  • Thermometer and hygrometer
  • Telephone

1.4-1.11 Operational Procedures

  1. Specimen cylinders/buckets with disinfectant and gauze for wiping
  2. Pre-experiment: wipe table with iodine, UV disinfection for 1 hour
  3. Entry procedure: hand wash, wear disinfection clothing, slippers, masks, hats, gloves
  4. Post-experiment: clean equipment, boil germ-contaminated items >30 min
  5. Disinfect table with iodine, return all items, wash hands
  6. Change and disinfect clothing, return slippers to rack
  7. Post-use UV disinfection for 1 hour
  8. Weekly cleaning of workshop, buffer room and slippers

2. Toxicology Room

2.1-2.5 Operational Procedures

  • Strict adherence to standard operating procedures
  • Entry: air shower, sterilized clothing, caps, masks, gloves
  • Post-experiment: disinfect waste/equipment/clothing at 121℃ for 1 hour
  • Disinfect operating table, staff use disinfectant then wash hands
  • Weekly cleaning of toxicology room and buffer room

2.6-2.9 Safety Protocols

  • Weekly cleaning of slippers
  • Availability of conventional and emergency disinfectants
  • Strict prohibition: eating, drinking, chatting, smoking
  • Lock door immediately after use

2.10-2.12 Quality Control

  • Regular QC for pressure cooker and clean bench
  • Regular measurement of wind speed and air volume
  • Regular measurement of dust concentration and bacterial count
