Temperature and humidity control in clean rooms
For ISO 7 level clean shed, its temperature and humidity requirements are not as strict as higher level clean shed. In general, if there is no special temperature and humidity requirements, it is recommended to adjust the temperature according to the comfort of the personnel wearing clean clothes, and the temperature is usually controlled at 20-22℃ in winter and 24-26℃ in summer, with a fluctuation range of ± 2℃ or less. The humidity of the clean room in winter is controlled between 30% and 50%, while in summer it is between 50% and 70%.
Allowable number of fine particles and microorganisms in a clean room
The fine particle tolerance for class ISO 7 clean room is as follows: the number of ≥0.5 micron particles should not be more than 3.5 million, and the number of ≥5 micron particles should not be more than 20,000. As for the microorganism tolerance, the number of planktonic bacteria does not exceed 500/m³, and the number of settling bacteria does not exceed 10/90 minutes.
Pressure difference requirement of clean room
Pressure difference is an important indicator to ensure the isolation of the clean shed internal and external environment. The same clean level of clean shed should be maintained between the same pressure difference, and for different clean levels of neighboring clean shed, the pressure difference should be maintained at least 5Pa above, clean shed and non-clean shed pressure difference should be greater than 10Pa. This is mainly to effectively ensure that the gas from the clean area into the non-clean area to avoid the situation of air back-up.
Cleanliness level table
Class 10-100 clean rooms are primarily designed to rapidly carry away dust particles from the room by means of unidirectional vertical airflow, i.e., airflow within the clean room maintains uniformity of direction and velocity across the same cross-section. In order to achieve this goal, high-efficiency filters are usually spread all over the roof to ensure vertical air circulation.
For 1K-100K level of clean room, the direction of its airflow organization and 10-100 level of clean room is different. The airflow inside this type of clean room flows at an uneven speed, accompanied by reflux and vortex phenomena. It mainly relies on the continuous dilution of clean airflow to eliminate internal contamination in order to achieve the desired clean effect. The different levels of clean rooms are mainly dependent on the amount of air supplied per unit of time.
