The cleanliness level of a clean room is usually classified according to the number of dust particles in the air, and common classes include ISO 14644-1 and International Federal Standard 209E, etc. The ISO 14644-1 standard divides the cleanliness level into ISO 1 to ISO 9, where ISO 1 represents the highest level of cleanliness, and ISO 9 is the lowest level of cleanliness. In China, national standards such as GB 50073-2013 and GB/T 25915.1-2021 also specify cleanliness classifications and test methods.

Air Filtration
The air filtration system of a clean room is the basis of its work, which mainly includes primary filters and high efficiency filters (HEPA) or ultra high efficiency filters (ULPA). These filters are effective in capturing and removing tiny particles in the air, such as dust, bacteria, viruses, etc., to ensure the cleanliness of the air.
Positive Pressure Control
Cleanrooms must maintain a certain positive pressure level to prevent the entry of external contaminants. This is usually achieved by making the supply air volume of the purification system greater than the sum of the return and exhaust air volumes. The static pressure difference between clean rooms of different cleanliness levels and between clean and non-clean areas should not be less than 5Pa, and the static pressure difference with the outside should not be less than 10Pa.
Material selection and decoration
Clean shed interior decoration material selection is critical, should be used not easy to produce dust, corrosion resistance, easy to clean materials, such as color steel, stainless steel and so on. At the same time, the wall and floor seams, doors and windows need to be sealed to reduce the possibility of dust accumulation and microbial growth.
Lighting and static control
Clean room should use explosion-proof, dust-proof, easy to clean lamps and lanterns, and maintain the appropriate level of illumination to avoid glare and stroboscopic, to ensure that the operator's visual comfort. Static control is also important, need to set up static grounding system, the use of anti-static materials and equipment to reduce the risk of contamination caused by electrostatic discharge.
