Core components

Our High-Strength Modular Framing is made from highest quality industrial-grade 4080 aluminum or SUS304 stainless steel. The prefabricated bolt-on frames provide ultimate strength and support. And are designed for fast and easy tool-less assembly.

FFU’s (Floor Flow Units) supplied with the filter frames are Deiiang brand AC or similar model AC or EC motor FFU’s, capable of producing a constant 0.45m/s vertical air flow. The FFU’s are integrated in to the cleanroom, enabling the filter frames to be easily serviced and or replaced without disturbing the entire cleanroom.

Premium 2.0mm PVC curtains with permanent anti-static properties (10⁶-10⁹ Ω) of static – prevents dust from attracting to the curtains and also protects sensitive electronic components from damage by static discharge.

Control for FFU group as a unit – stepless speed control of all units, real time alerts of faults in the airflow system, in order to get best possible energy efficiency and positive pressure in the clean room.

Airtight T-Grid Ceiling - These structures are perfect to create an airtight solution to hang your FFU air filtration units and LED lighting modules for Bio Clean Rooms and related applications. They are designed to perfectly hold all your clean-room filtration and lighting components to prevent any air bypass for maintaining the required ISO 5 clean-room environment.
Application scenarios

Semiconductor & Precision Electronics
Pain Point: Sub-micron dust and ESD damage during wafer handling and lithography.
Solution:damage during wafer handling and lithography. To meet the new requirements for particle control and ESD protection, Deiiang develops softwall booths for semiconductor and precision electronics processing which are equipped with H14 HEPA filters and work with permanent ESD-safe curtains to create Class 100 clean air zones in required locations within existing fabrication facilities at a fraction of the cost of building out full clean rooms..

Medical Device Assembly Lines
Problems: High risk of cross-contamination and high cost of inflexible, permanent cleanroom structures for implant assembly.
The answer to the above problem is Deiiang’s modular cleanroom solution. This is used for catheter and disposables assembly in aseptic grade environment. This is also a flexible solution which can be reconfigured quickly as product lines change.

Pharmaceutical & Aseptic Processing
Challenge: Most facilities waste a lot of energy running the whole room at Grade A/ISO 5 level in order to have a aseptic filling zone.
Our ‘room-within-a-room’ solution also saves huge amounts of energy by only distributing ISO 5 air to the area required. Thus large quantities of FFU’s are not required saving a considerable amount of energy to cool the air to Grade A/ISO 5 levels for aseptic filling etc. Also by containing the air to the exact area required for compounding, filling and weighing contamination is eliminated.

Precision Optics & Laser Technology
Problem: Lens can be contaminated during coating and there is also serious problem of vibration caused by large scale air handling units for clean room.
We also provide the ISO 5 softwall cleanrooms with ultra-low vibration FFUs and crystal-clear PVC panels for the Precision Optics and Laser Technology to provide the clean and stable environment for the high-precision optical inspection and the assembly of laser systems in standard workshops.

Biotechnology & Life Science Research
Challenge: Limited lab space and high cost of civil engineering for cell culture or R&D clean zones.
These air-curtain type units for R&D, Cell Culture, and related applications provide an instant sterile clean area without the need for a costly civil engineering project to create a Clean Zone within a Laboratory. These portable Cleanrooms can also be taken down and re-erected whenever required.
Installation & maintenance
Installation
Site prep: clean area, verify level.
Frame assembly: bolt aluminum/stainless uprights and crossbeams.
Leveling: adjust feet for vertical stability.
Ceiling grid: install T-grid/support for FFUs.
FFU & lighting: place FFUs and LED panels, seal interfaces.
Electrical: wire FFUs and lights to control box and mains.
Curtain hanging: fit anti‑static PVC curtains with overlapping seal.
Validation: run 24 h, perform particle count to confirm ISO 5.
Maintenance
Daily: wipe work surfaces and curtains with cleanroom‑approved IPA.
Monthly: check FFU operation and curtain condition/static.
Quarterly: measure face velocity (target 0.3–0.5 m/s) and monitor differential pressure.
Annual: professional HEPA integrity test (PAO/DOP).
Filter replacement: pre‑filters every 3–6 months; HEPA/ULPA every 2–3 years or when pressure drop doubles.

FAQ
The ISO 5 Softwall Cleanroom from Deiiang is used by several of our customers for aseptic filling of pharmaceuticals, medical device packaging and for compounding pharmacy. Like the hardwall rooms the ISO 5 Softwall Cleanroom is able to deliver the same air cleanliness in terms of particles, airflow and pressure differential. But that's where the similarity ends and in fact the Softwall Cleanroom has several advantages above the hardwall versions. Chief among these advantages is flexibility – softwall versions are generally easy to move around to accommodate other pieces of equipment. Because we design these rooms to be validated in terms of particle counts, airflow, pressure differentials etc., as with any other classified space, they can be used for GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) pharmaceutical/medical device work and USP (United States Pharmacopeia) type applications.
In terms of our clients are surprised at how fast they can be up and running in an ISO 5 Softwall Cleanroom. Typically, a small team of people can have a standard ISO 5 Softwall Cleanroom set up in a day or two, or even in under 8 hours. This is because the Softwall Cleanroom is a modular softwall system that can be bolted together in an empty room to form a clean zone. The frames are made of aluminum and the anti-static PVC curtains are then hung from the frame. The Fan Filter Units (FFU's) can then be integrated into the Softwall Cleanroom.
Of course there is Static generation. We can use anti-static PVC. We have tested this material for Surface resistivity. Typical readings for our curtain material are between 10⁶ and 10⁸ ohms/square (it safely dissipates static electricity, rather than storing it and thus attracting dirt & dust). The static from people is also dissipated by grounding during installation. We can give step-by-step instructions for how to do this.
As mentioned previously, airflow is directed downward through FFUs from the ceiling of the clean room, providing a unidirectional flow of HEPA-filtered air, which pushes all particles in the room toward the floor and out of the room. In softwall clean rooms, the walls are not a hermetically sealed enclosure, but rather a means of containing a positive air pressure within the clean zone. This pressure can be greater than the surrounding area by as much as 2.5 Pascal. Even with slight leaks through the seams of the curtain, the air leaking out of the clean room through the walls will be clean air, not contaminated air entering the clean room through the leaks. As a result, the containment provided by the softwall will be effective as long as the design provides adequate air velocity and adequate pressure.
This is not a temporary solution for a short period of time. Many of our customers use softwall cleanrooms for years, some even up to 7 years for aseptic filling, others for packaging of medical devices, or for preparations in a pharmacy. The aluminum frame is robust and made for long term use. Also the curtains used for the softwall are very durable and can be replaced, if needed. Because a softwall cleanroom is made of modules, it is easy to change the configuration, to move it to another location or to upgrade the filtration. For many users a softwall cleanroom is a permanent part of their lab or production site.
First of all, softwall cleanrooms can be significantly cheaper than hardwall cleanrooms. The cost savings of an ISO 5 Softwall Cleanroom can stem from two areas: 1) lower material cost, and 2) lower labor cost for construction. High quality PVC softwall cleanroom curtains are generally much less expensive than solid acrylic or sandwich panels used in hardwall cleanrooms. But the bigger cost savings is the reduction in construction time and associated labor costs. A typical ISO 5 Softwall Cleanroom can be completely installed and operational in a matter of hours as opposed to weeks for a hardwall cleanroom. And once installed, a Softwall Cleanroom can be easily disassembled and relocated to another part of the facility or to a different facility if needed. This makes a Softwall Cleanroom a very cost effective solution for companies with limited space or that need to move frequently from place to place.
